The industry the candidates I have been looking at are mainly within the food and beverage industry with a few in pharmaceuticals. Most of the candidates I have been in contact with are maintenance engineers either electrically or mechanically biased.

I make a lot of calls to different candidates on our extensive database, I would say only 1 in 10 who answer are actively looking for work. A lot of the people I speak to are happy in their current jobs but some are open to moving but not necessarily looking. Most of the people I leave messages too don’t get back to me because I assume they are happy in their current job. The information I want from them is: there salary, there required salary, why they are looking to leave their current job, their notice period, there maximum travel distant and if they are working shifts.

I do this because it helps us as a business understand what you’re looking for so we can much you up to the most suitable job available.
Also I do this because it helps us keep everything up to date as well as keeping in touch with clients to understand their job desires. It’s important for candidates to return my calls because our large database needs up dating regularly so we can help you if not now but in the future.

Candidates keep in contact with us not only on the phone but social media too where Citizen is extremely active on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
