What I do as a CV Resourcer as a Food Recruitment Consultancy
My role at Citizen Recruitment is a CV Resourcer I am responsible for candidate attraction specification and adding candidates to the online database that Citizen Recruitment use. Part of my role is to talk with candidates to gain knowledge of what they want from their career and discuss how we can help them. We have a range of online media to assist candidates as well as years of recruitment experience. We have an extensive database of nearly 60,000 candidates all within the food and beverage manufacturing industry. I contact these candidates directly to ensure that they are still active in the job market as well as most importantly finding out if they have and friends who are looking for work. I find the best candidates often come from candidate referrals.
Citizen are a Recruitment Consultancy based in Northwich, Cheshire that specialise in the recruitment for the food manufacturing industry and pharmaceutical industry within the UK.
The positions we recruit for are Engineering, Health, Safety and Environmental, Procurement/ Supply Chain, Production and Quality/Technical. There are many job titles within these disciplines in particular Engineering where we are working on quite a few Maintenance roles mechanical, electrical and supervisors etc.
The candidates I have mainly been looking at are Engineers within the Food and Beverage industry and sorting these in to their respective positions then adding them to our extensive database.
We find candidates from searches of our database, we find the best candidates on our database for the job we are recruiting for. We also use an extensive range of job boards including Food industry Careers, Jobsite, CV Library and Reed.
Candidates keep in contact with us not only on the phone but social media too where Citizen is extremely active on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
